Michelle: Is there one thing you have to have when writing? I’ve posted it here on the blog for readers and shared with others, but I just can’t read it. Michelle: I have never, ever read the original ending, although I know what happens. After the initial reviews came out and fans felt the same way, I thought of ways to change it. The first ending was far more tragic, and I liked it, but didn’t love it. SC: The current ending to Thoughtless is not the original ending. Michelle: What can you tell us about your Kellan and Kiera that we won’t find in the book? SC: Silver Shadows by Richelle Mead, The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan, Love, in English by Karina Halle, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black, and The Bet by Rachel Van Dyken. Michelle: What are five books on your night stand? Michelle: Originally, I had pegged Ryan Guzman as my Kellan until I was introduced to Devin Paisley. I’m not sure about the others, except Denny. SC: I’ve grown to love Devin Paisley as Kellan. Michelle: If Thoughtful were made into a movie, who would you include in your dream cast? I’m not sure how long of a break that will be, since they always seem to draw me back in, but I do have new, really fun projects I’m working on. SC: Griffin’s book (Untamed) is coming out later this fall, and then I’m taking a break from the D-Bags crew. Michelle: So what’s next for you and the series?
